London Pub Crawls for Adventurous Lads & Ladettes
Are you a bored local or just a bewildered traveler with no clue on where to start? Let the professionals guide you on some of the wildest, exhilarating and challenging pub crawls in London. London City alone (as opposed to Greater London), holds thousands of pubs, bars and clubs and numerous night-life spots well-worth your time.
The Circle Line Pub Crawl
If you’ve never lived in London, you probably are unaware that grand city is made up of a maze of 10 intertwined metro lines that take nearly 2.7 million busy-Londoners and adventurous globe-trotters around London every single day. If you ask the locals, they’ll probably tell you it’s famous for being one of the most miserable tube-lines in the world.
It’s comparable to a human-size sardine can during peak-hours and boasts a natural ventilation that seem to serve absolutely zero purpose in Summer – Thank god it’s now home to one of the greatest pub crawls – the circle line pub crawl.
It’s a challenge that’ll make you feel like an Olympic champion when completed successfully and it’s the best fun you’ll ever have on the Tube – 27 stations, 27 pubs and 28 drinks in 12 hours. All stops are along the Circle Line, which as the name implies, is a tube line that runs in a circle, taking you through some of the best night-life spots in Central London. It’s a true test of navigation skill and endurance.
Camden Pub Crawl
Camben could be described as one of London’s most alternative neighborhoods. As artistic as it is intriguing, this place is home to the works of some of London’s most-famous street artists including Banksey, as well as the breath-taking Regent canal, 6 open-air markets and a party atmosphere well-worth experiencing.
The nightlife in Camden is so vast, vibrant and diverse that you’ll probably have no idea where to start. That’s why you should head on the Camden Pub Crawl. It’s one of London’s craziest bar crawls and is a great way to journey through Camden’s mind-boggling and electric atmosphere. You’ll raise your glass to some of London’s best up-and-coming bands and can even finish your night with a ridiculously-sized kebab or a huge plate of some of the best market-food in the London.
Monopoly Pub Crawl
Monopoly has now become a life-size contest and London is your game-board. The challenge? 26 pubs which all correspond with the properties and stations of the old but truly classic game that we’ll be teaching our grand-kids. The crawl is usually split into groups and there are even prizes for the group that finishes the challenge first.
Your first pint will be downed at Old Kent Rd (the first stop on the Monopoly board-game), before you head to other famous destinations including King’s Cross Station and Oxford Street. Be enchanted by some of London’s oldest and coziest pubs and soak in the perfect combination of Georgian and Victorian-style architecture as you sink an ice-cold pint. Remember to take it slow, because that pint is 1 of 26 that you’ll be downing in around 12 hours.
These are just a few of the great London pub crawls that you can enjoy and are a fantastic way to meet other travelers and experience some of the unique and interesting London pubs and bars.
